You’ll provide the support our residents need.

At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we want to create an area that our residents are proud to live in. Which is why we’re involving our communities from the start, ensuring we continue to provide them with real support. As the Head of Business Support, you’ll be essential to the Housing Management department, coordinating teams so that you can reach all residents, together.

In this role, you’ll oversee and lead the delivery of internal and external communications and you will need to ensure that we can reach a range of audiences. You’ll also make sure GDPR is implemented across all Housing Management services. You’ll also be responsible for leading the following teams: Communications and Public Information, Data Governance, Procurement, and Business Support. Together, you’ll provide excellent assistance to Housing Management staff, constantly seeking ways to improve all areas of the business. You will oversee procurement  services across the department making sure they’re in line with the Council’s standards and regulations.

To excel in this position, you’ll need substantial experience in understanding data governance and management. This will see you ensure that we deliver services that protect both residents and the Council in the management of data. This might include senior managers - so you will need to be comfortable communicating with people at different levels, internally and externally.
